  • Kareem's Leukemia

    It is so sad to hear that basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia! The name of it is Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia. I am hoping and praying that he gets better soon! It sounds like its something that he will be able to take meds for, and that his prognosis is good.

    The Fort Hood shooting that happened last week was so sad! I am still trying to find out if that's where Charles Pridgen, a military chaplain who went to Grace, is stationed.
